PPNEA organized the workshop of Eco-guide with the participant of guest house, hoteliers and restaurants together with local guide. This activity was organised in the frame of the programme "Wetland Management and Dalmatian Pelikan Conservation in the Mediterranean Basin", with the support of Noe Conservation and with a strong collaboration of Divjaka-Karavasta National Park Administration. In the frame of the project "Management of Wetlands and Dalmatian Pelican Conservation in the Mediterranean Basin", Protection and Preservation of Natural Environment in Albania it was organized the workshop for the presentation of National Action Plan of Dalmatian Pelican (Pelecanus crispus) in Albania.
In this meeting are present different stakeholders such as representative of the Ministry of Environment, RAPA, NAPA of areas where the Dalmatian pelican is present. In addition, local and regional experts, different NGO-s, media and representative of fishing directories are present.
The Dalmatian Pelican, a flagship species which inhabits Karavasta lagoon, needs constant conservation measures to provide the right peaceful reproduction site and to return in its glorious days. For this reason, in the frame of the project "Management of Wetlands and Dalmatian Pelican Conservation in the Mediterranean Basin", PPNEA in close cooperation with Regional Administration of Protected Areas (RAPA) and with the support of Noe Conservation, EuroNatur have built for the last two years the artificial platform in Divjaka-Karavasta National Park, to support the pelican’s island.

The education and awareness campaign with schools in Shebenik-Jabllanica National Park concluded on the 12 June, with a field expedition in Qarrishte, the central part of the National Park.
High school students from "Shefqet Dosku’’ school in Dorez together with experts from PPNEA, Agri-en and Park administration staff spend the day working in small groups to do bird watching, learning about wildlife monitoring method with camera traps and hiking along trails to identify plants they learnt in the previous trainings.
