Our bird conservation team member Oresta Saliaj and our volunteer Denada Ziu participated in the "Balkan Anti-poison Workshop” that took place in Papingo, Greece along 25-26th of May 2015. The workshop aimed to increase the awareness and existing know-how on the matter of illegal use of poison baits, essential for the conservation of the last pairs of Egyptian vultures in the Balkans.

Protection and Preservation of Natural Environment in Albania has participated in the conference Little Sydney: Protecting Nature in Europe in Donau-Auen National Park, Hainburg, Austria on 28-31 May.

This event was organized by IUCN and the IUCN World Commission on Protected Areas (WCPA), in conjunction with the Austrian Federal Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry, Environment and Water Management, and the Donau-Auen National Park.

PPNEA representatives together with colleagues from BLRP  participated on 22 April in a wildlife regional workshop in Bulgaria entitled "EU Platform on Coexistence between People and Large Carnivores".
