Albania is the first and the only country in the world that ban hunting for around 7 years (2014-2016 / 2016-2021). The recent report "Assessing the effectiveness of the hunting ban in Albania”, written by the German researcher Daniel Ruppert, reflects important data regarding the implementation of the hunting moratorium in our country. This research project was carried out during September-December 2017, as part of the master’s programme "Global Change Management” of the Eberswalde University of Sustainable Development and was conducted with the help of the national environmental NGO, Protection and Preservation of Natural Environment in Albania” (PPNEA). The main purpose of this research report was investigation the results of the hunting moratorium, particularly its effectiveness, its implementation and impact.
