A sad news coming from the field. In the late evening of 22 July, PPNEA has received signals from locals in the village of Lure, Diber, that the rare Griffon vulture (Gyps fulvus) staying there, has died because of the collusion in electric lines.
 
Referring to the locals, this individual has been found in bad conditions more than one year ago closed to a dumping site in the village of Lure, Diber and has been taken and feed for around one month, and afterwards released in the wild. However, even ...
