Dajti the park above the city
In this interview the chairman of PPNEA speaks about the beauty and the reasons to visit the Dajti national Park. Located to the east of Tirana, Dajti National Park covers 29.384 hectares of a mountain massif with the highest peak of 1613 meters. Vegetation is composed by oak forests and pine forests mainly of Balkan pine which are found in rocky slopes. The Park is a habitat for brown bears and wolfs, as well as of numerous vertebrate and invertebrate species.
