Enerit Saçdanaku

Conservation Biologist, University of Tirana

Mr. Enerit Saçdanaku finished his Bachelor studies in Biology Science in 2008 at University of Tirana, Faculty of Natural Sciences and two years after, in 2010, he was graduated in Environmental Biology (MSc studies) at the same university, where he earned the title “Environmental Biologist”. He continued his studies and research work, where seven years later, in 2017, he earned his PhD on Conservation Biology at University of Tirana on Taxonomy, Distribution and Ecology of Marine and Freshwater Turtles in Albania.  He started to work in 2011 as a full time Lecturer of Vertebrate Zoology and Comperative Anatomy at University of Vlora “Ismail Qemali”, where for five years he was teaching Biology students with high passion and motivation for preparing a good generation of students. In 2015 he moved and started to work at Research Center of Flora and Fauna, Faculty of Natural Sciences, University of Tirana and since there he is a Researcher near this Center, focusing on the taxonomy, distribution, ecology and conservation of amphibians and reptiles in Albania. He is also an Assistant lecturer of Vertebrate Zoology, Department of Biology, Faculty of Natural Sciences, University of Tirana, where he is involved and leads practical field courses of Vertebrate Zoology with Biology students at the second year of their Bachelor studies. Dr. Sacdanaku is a highly professional with 15 years of experience in topics related with biodiversity inventories, habitat & species monitoring, as well as taxonomy and species identification, gathering and analyzing data on species and habitats of community interest, monitoring population trends and habitat conditions of Herpetofauna species in Albania.
