Dea Zyruku

Dea holds a degree in Environmental Biology from the University of Tirana and has a strong passion for nature conservation. Her research interests focus on freshwater ecosystems and bird species.

Previously, Dea worked as a Project Manager, leading a transboundary initiative aimed at improving spatial planning within the Balkan Green Belt. Currently, she remains a dedicated supporter of PPNEA’s initiatives, contributing her expertise as an ornithologist to the Bird Conservation Program, where she assists with bird monitoring and habitat protection efforts.
