The Protection and Preservation of Natural Environment in Albania (PPNEA) is the national Partner of BirdLife International, forming part of a worldwide network dedicated to conserving birds and biodiversity. Through this partnership, PPNEA links Albania’s conservation efforts with a global alliance of organizations, bringing international expertise into local action while contributing to shared goals for protecting species, habitats, and ecosystems.
In this role, PPNEA works to conserve bird species and their habitats through research, monitoring, site protection, and community engagement. Its efforts also focus on raising awareness, supporting environmental education, and advocating for stronger policies and sustainable practices.
