Klaudja joined PPNEA at the end of 2014, to work as PrespaNet officer, at the Prespa National Park. Soon after, she also got involved as an Outdoor Education officer, designing and implementing activities with children and teachers in several areas in Albania, about the Balkan lynx, Pelican and other birds, and Egyptian Vulture, and protected areas.

From managing the Prespa Local Office programme and at the same time leading an innovative initiative for Albania, known as Connectivity Conservation or ecological corridors, aiming to pave the way towards implementing this concept in the country, Klaudja is using her knowledge and experience to enhance nature conservation work in Albania.

She is an Alumni of the MAVA Leaders for Nature Academy (2021-2022), and of the Erasmus + master degree programme ‘’Transcultural European Outdoor Studies’’ (2012-2014), as an Alumni of Philipps University Marburg (DE), University of Cumbria (England), and Sports Sciences School of Oslo (NO). Her research interests are outdoor education and the governance and management systems of protected areas.
