The Albanian section of the Balkan Route, now available with GPS tracks, invites adventurers to traverse some of the country’s most precious landscapes. The trail stretches from Vermosh, near the border with Montenegro in northern Albania, down to Prespa National Park, where Albania meets North Macedonia.
Designed for nature enthusiasts and biodiversity explorers alike, the route encompasses some of Albania’s most treasured natural sites, including:
- Theth National Park
- Valbona National Park
- Korab-Koritnik Natural Park
- Shebenik-Jabllanicë National Park
- Pogradec Protected Landscape
- Prespa National Park.
