13 selected projects under the Green Agenda Multiplier Support Program

Belgrade Open School is proud to share the list of projects selected within the Green Agenda Multiplier Support Program for CSOs and CSO networks.

The Call for proposals was open from August 18 to September 17, 2025, receiving a total of 90 applications. After administrative checks, 67 proposals entered the evaluation process, and following a review by the Evaluation Committee, 13 initiatives were selected for financial and mentoring support.

Selected projects will be implemented from November 2025 to October 2026 across six Western Balkan economies, focusing on decarbonization, biodiversity, and depollution, contributing to the advancement of the Green Agenda in the region.

The overall objective of the Green Agenda Multiplier Support Program is to increase cooperation, understanding, and impact of CSOs in Green Agenda for the Western Balkans. GAWB is a regional initiative promoting sustainable and climate-neutral economic development, aligned with the EU integration process. Adopted at the Sofia Summit in 2020, it involves Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, Kosovo*, North Macedonia, and Serbia. Based on the European Green Deal, GAWB aims for climate-neutrality by 2050, addressing climate challenges through five key pillars for a greener, resilient, and fairer regional development.

This Call was announced under the Green Agenda Navigator project, implemented by Belgrade Open School in cooperation with six regional partners: the Aarhus Centre Association in Bosnia and HerzegovinaEco-Team from Montenegro, Eco-Z from Kosovo*, the Center for Environmental Research and Information Eko-Svest from North Macedonia, the Protection and Preservation of Natural Environment organization from Albania, and CEE Bankwatch Network as the EU-based partner. The project is co-funded by the European Union.
