Job position at PPNEA Position: Communications officer and Public Relations (PR).
Responsibilities and duties:
To be engaged as responsible for communication officer and public and media relations (PR) in the organization.
- To control and manage PPNEA contact addresses.
- To maintain and update the electronic pages of PPNEA and social networks Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, and LinkedIn.
- To manage, catalog, and distribute the postal correspondence of PPNEA, in an orderly manner;
- To follow the annual communication plan and compile it for the coming years;
- To ensure that the activities of PPNEA are reflected in the media in real-time and have maximum visibility impact;
- Maintaining the database, and list of media contacts, creating new contacts and helping to increase the presence of PPNEA in the media.
- To engage in writing, editing, and processing press releases, articles, communication materials, and stories with the aim of raising awareness and influencing public opinion, as well as being ready to organize and give interviews with different media.
- To monitor and evaluate the coverage of these activities in the media, including social networks.
- To participate and help in the organization of various events, meetings, and conferences for the needs of PPNEA.
- To design various awareness campaigns with innovative and contemporary content.
- Help identify new contemporary communication channels to increase the visibility, impact and results of PPNEA programs.
- To maintain contacts with communication networks, to create networks and contacts with journalists as well as to help increase the presence of PPNEA in the media.
- To meet regularly with project managers and PPNEA staff, to participate in the required activities and to prepare annual reports on the relevant activities.
The criteria that must be met by the candidates who will respond to this call:
- To be a graduate in the fields of communication profiles and public relations or in environmental fields but with further qualifications or training in communication and public relations.
- Be available for full-time work (40 working hours/week).
- Have excellent communication and writing skills in Albanian and English (for the English language, proof of qualification such as TOEFL, IELTS, etc. will be required).
- Basic knowledge of at least one of the Adobe Illustrator / Lightroom programs or equivalent programs is considered an advantage.
- Knowledge of WordPress is considered an advantage.
- Have good personal qualities related to teamwork. To be able to apply a high standard of behavior and communication in the work environment and in the entire professional space related to it.
- To have personal initiative and willingness to increase professional capacity.
Candidates with previous work experience with environmental issues will have priority in the selection.
