Exciting news! Our tagged Egyptian vulture, Aoos / Vjosa, has embarked on her annual migration journey from Africa where she spent the winter, to her breeding grounds in Albania. Currently soaring through Egypt, she’s on her way to her forever home, Vjosa valley, where we eagerly await her return. Let’s celebrate summer day in Albania by welcoming back this magnificent species, symbolizing the messenger of spring. Each year the Egyptian vulture bravely returns to Albania, facing many threats along its journey, making it a flight for survival. Safe travels, Aoos!
