Spring migration is at its peak, and this weekend is the perfect moment to head outdoors with binoculars in hand!
Choose small areas and move within up to 1 km to collect the most valuable data possible. Create observation lists lasting up to 1–2 hours.
Record the number of individuals for every species you see or hear.
If your app allows it, enable GPS tracking.
Note any breeding evidence you observe.
Look out for species such as:
Eurasian Skylark
Eurasian Golden Oriole
House Martin
Common Chiffchaff
Record every observation in the Observation.org app and contribute to bird conservation throughout the year.
