‘Albania is Biodiversity’ is a long-term program that aims to raise awareness on the fantastic ecosystems and species that live in Albania. As a first encounter, the initiative is presented as a public intervention, which brings some of the critically endangered and some of the most unique species in the city-center of Tirana.

This art work is a complemented through a carefully thought educational programme, dedicated especially to children and youngsters, and a series of public events, such as talks, screenings, workshops, etc.

‘Albania is Biodiversity’ comes as a joint effort between PPNEA and Heinrich Boell Stiftung, Tirana office. The project is made possible throught the valuable support of the Swiss Embassy, European Delegation to Albania, the German Embassy, the French Embassy, the Italian Agency for Development Cooperation, and Vodafone Albania.
