A 10-year-old student named Vivi from the @worldacademyoftirana_wat (WAT) conducted a school project on endangered species after being inspired by a visit from PPNEA. She shared her findings with PPNEA, including a survey she conducted on what her grade 3-4 classmates know about conservation.
“I wanted to do a project on endangered species because I have been interested in them since when I was in 4th grade. My interest in endangered species started with a unit we had in school about the environment. I am worried about endangered species because I know that when we [humans] hurt them, we are also hurting ourselves. I feel bad about species that go extinct because they all had their place in this world, and then they were taken away. And to think it happens mostly because of humans makes me very sad”. – she said.
These findings can help all of us, to better understand what kids know about conservation. Thank you for your immense contribution, Vivi!
