The cooperation agreement was signed as a new collaboration between the Faculty of Economics, the Faculty of Agriculture at “Fan S. Noli” University, and the PPNEA.
The agreement aims to develop educational and professional internships as well as practical training for research and monitoring methods through field trips for undergraduate and graduate students.
This collaboration will allow the identification and implementation of priorities in scientific research, as well as mobilizing the necessary physical, logistical, and human resources with high standards and quality.
Considering the presence of protected areas in the Korça region, the importance of biodiversity and nature conservation issues, and the international context for the Prespa Transboundary Park, this agreement represents a necessity for joint actions for scientific research and awareness raising.
The coordinated actions of the two institutions will make it possible to identify and address environmental problems. We are delighted to provide a platform for our students to fully understand and explore nature – the real laboratory – and to make a positive impact on protection.
