As spring arrives, migratory birds, emblematic of a #FlightForSurvival, have reached in Albania from Africa. Among them is the White Stork, already sighted in Gjirokastër. After hearing about a White stork attempting to nest on power lines in Dropulli, Gjirokastër, we quickly notified our local partners and OSHEE (Energy Distribution Operator), who successfully set up a new nesting platform in the area, providing a safe space for the White stork pair to raise their chicks. Let’s hope for a successful breeding season for the White Storks in Albania and stay tuned for this year’s monitoring results.
