On 13th of October 2019 more than 120 activists and nature lovers run for the last breading vulture in Albania, the Egyptian vulture. The “Egyptian Vulture” team, composed by PPNEA and AOS, was among the biggest teams participating in this marathon. The aim of this activity was to raise awareness for the importance of this species and the direct actions needed for the recovery of EV population. The Egyptian Vulture is a globally threatened species and over the last 30 years its population in the Balkans has declined by more than 80%, with no more than 70 pairs remaining.
