A new LIFE project is under implementation aiming to strengthen the Balkan population of the Egyptian vulture and secure its flyway. This project is financed by the EU, with partial co-financing by the A.P. Leventis Foundation and it is implemented by the Bulgarian Society for the Protection of Birds and a wide network of partners. This project supports the actions of PPNEA for preserving the population of the Egyptian vulture in the country.
