More than 200 civil society organisations from across the Western Balkans responded to our call for regional networking and dialogue on the Green Agenda for the Western Balkans.

This strong response confirms the need for closer regional cooperation, information sharing, and coordinated advocacy on environmental protection, climate action, and sustainable development.

The newly established network represents an important step towards strengthening dialogue between civil society organisations and the Regional Cooperation Council (RCC), with the goal of ensuring that civil society voices are more effectively represented in the monitoring and implementation of the Green Agenda for the Western Balkans.

In the coming weeks, we will introduce the 13 organisations and members of the Core Group who will coordinate the network’s future work.
