Our team, in the framework of the project “Paving the way towards a sustainable Natura 2000 network in Albania: the case of Nartë – Pishë – Poro complex site”, organized a workshop with the participation of flora, fauna and habitat experts, who presented their results based on the data generated across several field expeditions.
Following the Open Standards for the Practice of Conservation methodology, along the workshop we identified and listed the ecosystem services of the area, as well as its natural values. These results will influence the review and mapping process of Narte-Pishe-Poro according to Natura 2000 guidelines.
