Job Description:
- Organize and maintain project documentation, including reports, correspondence, and files, in both Albanian and English, as needed.
- Organize and coordinate meetings, seminars, and events.
- Prepare and distribute meeting agendas, minutes, and necessary documentation.
- Assist in planning and coordinating project activities and events.
- Support fieldwork and community engagement activities.
- Ensure project execution and that tasks are completed on time.
- Create and maintain the project database.
- Assist with the implementation of field research methods (e.g., tracking, observations, camera-trap monitoring, etc.) to monitor wildlife in priority areas and designated ecological corridors.
- Assist with the coordination and implementation of research and conservation activities for endangered species, such as the Balkan lynx.
- Demonstrate strong communication skills within the team, both in the office and in the field.
Education:
- An education degree in Environmental Sciences or related fields (biology, biochemistry, environmental engineering, etc.); experience in interdisciplinary studies or sciences will be considered an additional advantage.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience in organizing meetings, conferences, and similar events.
- Ability to build and maintain good relationships with stakeholders (local, national partners, donors) as well as individuals from diverse backgrounds in terms of nationality, religion, culture, and gender.
- Excellent communication skills in English.
- Ability to work in a team and in a dynamic environment, ensuring efficient time management and organization.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- A valid driving license (Type B) is mandatory. Experience driving 4×4 vehicles in difficult terrains will be considered an advantage.
