International Day for Biological Diversity, 2023
PPNEA has chosen to celebrate this year’s Biodiversity Day with the students and lecturers of the University of Korça, presenting our work done on the protection and preservation of the endangered species of biodiversity, as well as the scientific research, advocacy for nature conservation, and bringing attention to its importance.
The students from the Biology and Chemistry, Tourism and Marketing, and Economics departments, among others, learned more about the initiatives of PPNEA and how they could join us and engage actively in the programs for the protection of threatened species or the program for the conservation of biodiversity in Prespa transboundary area.
We thank the University of Korça for giving us this opportunity to spread the word about how we can all join together to preserve our world’s precious biodiversity. As is the theme of this year, we need to act – “From Agreement to Action: Build Back Biodiversity”.
