New observation of Egyptian vulture in Albania⠀

We are excited to share some great news about a new observation of Egyptian vulture in Albania. Thanks to the report of @daniela__tola we have been able to witness an individual of Egyptian vulture, spotted flying in the mountain of Tomorri. Additionally, after getting in touch with the locals, we got informed more about the presence of the Egyptian vulture in the area. ⠀

The sighting of this species in Tomorr represents a new territory for Albania. Although the news is encouraging, there is still work to be done to mitigate the population’s main dangers in order to assure its survival and recovery. ⠀
