On October 17th, the Marathon of Tirana brought together thousands of participants from Albania and other countries of the world, running for various important causes that need public support.
Even this year, the team of PPNEA and AOS, together with more than 60 activists and nature enthusiasts, participated at the marathon and dedicated the run to the conservation of the Egyptian vulture, the last breeding vulture in Albania.
Our participation in this event aims to raise the awareness of the general public about this endangered species, its flight for survival, as well as the measures that need to be taken for the recovery of its population.
We are grateful to the Evolve Gym team, who joined our cause with lots of participants, who even managed to get a high rank in the marathon.
