PONT and PPNEA continue the conservation work in Prespa
Year after year, our organization has been present in Prespa, working for the unique habitats of this transboundary region, which serves as shelter to a considerable number of species and even to the largest colony of the Dalmatian pelican in the world. We have implemented several educational campaigns, carried on countless monitoring actions for wetland habitats, wildlife research, as well as enforced the transboundary cooperation between the three neighbouring countries.

This new 3-year project marks the continuation of our efforts for the wonderful Prespa, enabling us to address critical issues such as the restauration of wetland habitats, researching mammal and bird populations, carrying on further educational efforts, as well as continuing the transboundary cooperation within #PrespaNet.

The grant agreement for this new project was signed on the 30th of December, successfully concluding a challenging year for the nature and biodiversity.
